| Name | Implementation of Maternal Health Financial Scheme in Rural Bangladesh |
| Description | This report describes an operations research (OR) study undertaken by the Population Council under the Demand Based Reproductive Health Commodity Project (DBRHCP) to examine the effect on utilization of maternal health care services, delivered by trained providers, through providing financial support directly to poor pregnant women through vouchers. Aiming to improve the quality of health service delivery, and particularly of reproductive health services, the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT) has implemented DBRHCP with four partners with financial assistance from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and technical assistance from United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). |
